The devs explained that we needed to wait and see, that there would be a further posting down the road, according to the FAQ, unless they've changed it in the last two weeks, concerning the Unseen 'Mechs and, in truth, I hope and pray they either already have permission or will be getting it. I really want to see FDs take on the Unseen Warhammer... and I would love to have my Wolverine that I know and love, for certain. Here's to hoping (raises a glass in toast)...

This has been floating around the forums, it looks like FD's work, but I'm not 100% certain. If the marauder made it into the game like THIS, I would be most satisfied.

Here is my Atlas in the colours of Scottish Capellan group Im setting up there is suppose to be one where I replace the blue with a green but the way I set it up means I can't do that and will have to do a complete re paint at some point.
Currently we are called Capellan Commandos but I think being a Scottish unit may call for a re think on that.
Enjoy the Atlas

EDIT: For some reason it did not post it, had to re connect link, probably needs a little edge clean up also.

I also wonder how it looks with green instead of blue. Do you have any pictures of that one too?
And very nice color scheme for your unit. Am I right to assume that colours are mostly chosen from the Scottish flag?

Yeah based of of the Scottish flag also trying to make it feel like kinda medi-evil.. I shall be doing a green one soon I kinda messed up and merged the layers.
Im working on a story which defines when the blue paint scheme is used and when green paint scheme is used, at the moment it along the lines of...
Green scheme is used when fighting along side other Capellan units.
Blue scheme is used for home security and when they are given free access to causing havoc on our enemies.

So, basically, green iis used combat and blue on their home world by forces which are stationed there (guards).

I dig it, I'm very interested in hearing more about your Capellan Highlander group. As a die hard Capellan I can completely sympathize with your efforts but I have to tell you, in doing my research into the history of the NWH, I've discovered the actual relationship they had with House Liao that fits in with all of the original stories as well as the new arc the Highlanders took and it actually makes sense for them to have left as they did.
If you ever want to discuss it, let me know. I'd love to see your site and back story as you get it done. Fantastic color scheme.
Do you have a picture of your logo minus the Atlas?

"Faction Insignia" thread.
@ OhGilPin: Looking at the Atlas, one minor detail is wrong. The belt of the Atlas should have the blue color on its right side (from our perspective), since it does not rotate.

Cheers I will take you up on that offer as I would like to tie it in with canon as much as possible but I know there is going to be a pile of non-canon stuff along side that as well, I will PM you soon when I get down to backstory as I don't have huge BattleTech knowledge here are the insignia designs I made.
Thanks OhGilPin

You bet, I'm sort of the non official lore master of the Highlanders since I've been reading about them from way back in the 80's. I have 2 PDF's I can give you that are the condensed stories scanned from 2 issues of Battletechnology you may like.
I love spreading the stories to the younger generations. I'm surprised at how many never heard of the older stories.
