My favorite re-paint from two years ago. I've been gone most of that time, came back to find the link for the image broken. So what the heck, I figured I'd re-post it. It is a cicada after all, they bury themselves away for years, to emerge at a later date to be admired by a new generation of observers.

Okay, here we go. Some Marian Hegemony 'Mechs based on my reinterpreted insignia. I was planning to do IV Legio and VI Legio, but have never gotten around to making their insignia, so this'll do for now.

I Legio Martia Victrix: The Praetorian Guard


II Legio Cataphracti: The Caesar's Own


III Legio Limitanei: Sentinels of the Reaches


V Legio Ripariensis: Wheel of Fire


I may throw together a couple for the IV and VI Legions using the insignia from Sarna in the future.

Unfortunately, PGI haven't given us concept art for the Hussar (yet ), so you'll have to make do with a Pleiades Hussars Locust:


At this point, I have to admit that not all Taurian Concordat units share names with BattleMechs, so here's a Hyades Light Infantry Thunderbolt:

To my knowledge, there aren't any other Clan templates yet.

Took one of the Timberwolf templates and played with it. I think it turned out well and had fun coloring it.

That's beautiful. The only that it's missing is some contrast with the blue, maybe a redish-purple streak like a comet. I think it'd look really nice.
