So the Grasshopper is from Bronson's Horde, the Zeus is from the 15th Arcturan Guards, the Enforcer... I would think somewhere related to the Draconis March ? The Panther is from Sorenson's sabers

Well recon in force is not just a tactic in House Steiner, it is standard operating procedure.

The shoulder insignia is the latter-day Sergeant-Major rank for the AAFS after the breakup of the FedCom. Which is likely just an oversight. But it's the right color ;D
