It looks like you need to multiply your camo layer, or decrease the transparency. It's a nice idea for a camo for sure, but the top layer is overpowering the mech's plating and it makes it look like you just painted over a painting, not that it's the mech's camo.

Hmm. How i learned its pretty much trial and error. Usually the layer labeled "Parts" you'll want to keep on top of the rest. so all you have to color is the plates on the mech. Gotta just fiddle around a bit with layers and stuff.

Indeed, when you learn to use the layer's blending options better, you will improve exponentially.

Also, there is some material out of the mech's bounds. If you are using Photoshop, you can remove the excess by Ctrl+left click in the mech layer to select it. Now go Select and Inverse (shortcut: Shift+Ctrl+I). Go to the new layer and press "Del".

This is the Mad Cat IV, a mech produced 80+ years ahead the MWO's timeline. Iron Hawk did this template by painfully working on an image done by the same Alex Iglesias, not for PGI, but for Catalyst.

The Marauder II, BTW, as a Macross Unseen, might never be in MWO. More about the Unseen/Reseen discussion here.

The Marauder II us unseen as well? Dang, didn't know that... thought it was just the original Marauder... Loved what Mektek did with the thing. Was hoping to see it again ^^

Not really MWO art but I thought I would show this one off. Its my Marauder in front of The Fort on Glasgow. Working on a fan based module for our RP unit the Glasgow Banshees.

Not so sure why people hate the reseen MAD so much. It looks pretty good from what you have shown.

I don't like the pronounced cockpit area.It wouldn't be so bad if it was more like the Madcat cockpit?

I adore the Reseen Marauder. This version is the best ever.

I once loved the Unseen Marauder. Looking back, the mech is too alien-like and so ungainly that would be probably impossible to walk or stand still.

Does anyone know if MWO is ever planning to put the Marauder in the game? I would love to see FD's version of this iconic Mech. The one I posted was done my Shimmering Sword as a personal commissioned piece of art.
