I was wondering if the developers will allow Kurita to have this for their mechs and what benefits would you think it would give if they did.

Supposedly, it's one of the equipment pieces that is going to be added to the game at some point, and I would assume everyone would have access to it. Most likely, it will allow people with C3 equipped to share targeting data with others. Since we know it takes a few seconds to receive targeting data on a target (armor status, weapons, distance, etc), this data will likely be available immediately if there's a C3 unit involved. This can be useful in choosing where to shoot a target, as well as whether or not you want to engage the target altogether (he's a brawler and I'm a PPC boat? I'm out of here!). Aside from that, not really sure what it could be used for. It's also possible that they would stick it on certain variants only, and make it unremovable and always active, possibly at the cost of permanent tonnage being used.

It depends on whether it is an internal unit (involves actual tonnage) or a module. I think it would operate better as an internal unit and improve team targeting and cohesion. In canon it weighed quite a bit anyway so it wouldn't make much sense as a module.
Could give the command C3 module the ability to designate priority targets instead of typing it out on team chat then running into a wall. Then again TS always worked better with this (instead of typed chat).
