Sure, but where else would you channel your money to fund resistance cells if not in the FWL? ;)

lol - all I'm saying is that from an existence standpoint, the SIC deserves a chance. We will have tons of new players - who might be interested in playing a small underdog nation.

Core world protection can ensure they never blink out of existence - and it would allow players to shape the game world a little more.

What fun is in being a fcation that can't fight back yet, can't be defeated?

Not fun on either side. :(

Why can't it fight back? And technically no faction can be defeated. The FRR will survive no matter what - I'm sure you'll hear clan players complain about that when the time comes.

I think everyone is underestimating the player base for the SIC. Just because they have smaller numbers of planets does not require that they have few players. They very well might (hence this poll), but its not a guarantee.

Needs more bump. Maybe someone can throw up a new thread, and see if we can't get a rough idea of the number of people who would go minor faction? Almost positive the Marian Hegemony, St.Ives Compact and Taurian Concordant would get a decent number of player behind them.

How long do you expect St.Ives to last between a vengeful Capcon and an opportunistic House Davion?

And If you were just puppetized Davion then what is the point?

St Ives is basicly a Davion march with Candace leading her country from New Avalon and Justin being head advisor to Hanse. Also that Kai is, and always will be, Victors best freind, the future prince.

They were however reconquered in 3063 because of the SLDF "peacekeepers" but that is in 14 years.

After Kai regularly dedicates solaris fights to victor and defeats some of his rivals for power in a political battle.

Dont forget who helped him in the Civil war
