CPLT-C3 - The C3 variant of the Catapult takes the 'Mech's long range fire support to a new level by removing both of the LRM-15 launchers and replacing them with an Arrow IV artillery system, allowing the Catapult to stay a safe distance from the battlefield, though its solitary ton of ammunition forces it to stay close to supply lines. The 'Mech is otherwise identical to the C1 model.

so with only one ton of ammo, it will not be as effective. and depending on how or if, they are even putting this into the game is still to be seen.

I doubt we will ever see this in game. The range in TT as stated above is 8 maps for IS. Normal map board was 18 hexes.

8 x 18 = 144 hexes x 30 Meters = 4320 Meter range.

Not sure how big the maps are but they would need to be about 5000 meters for this to be a viable weapon really.
Even though there is no official variant of it, I always put Arrow IV's on a Stalker chassis, giving a lot more room for ammo and backup weapons.
