Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but a grind through the suggestions forum along with a search has not turned up anything.

I would be keen to see the option for Elite founders to be able to choose their mech when the game goes live. When buying the founders pack anyone with limited or no mechwarrior experience has just a one in four chance of picking the mech that they ultimately would prefer to focus on. After having played the beta they may well reconsider their choice and prefer to select a different model.

I would really like to see this as well.I picked the Hunchback since it I think it's the best generalist but I might end up wanting to go with the Atlas eventually.

id agrea i picked the catapult one of my faves but ive been liking the hunchback more so far

to be honest: i don´t care, i´ll stick to my Cat... i was thinking about a change, but i got to love the catapult, and i´ll keep it...
but sure, why not let ppl change the mech at the final whipe...for a last and final time:)

Keep the Beta preferences to the Beta threads, guys... I know you might have chosen X but you play Y more and like that one... but talking about how you like to play Y is technically a Beta discussion.

But, as for the OP's idea.. I like it.
