So when Mech pilots aren't out in the field doing the nation's work, is there going to be a "lobby" system where they can chat with other pilots, talk about their factions next mission, etc.?

Having different chat channels for general, faction, merc corp e.t.c. would be nice indeed, but in a match, only 'team' and 'general/local/broadcast' should be available.

Seriously, guy? That's the most productive thing you could say? You don't mention HOW it's a waste of time and resources, and it's not even something that interferes with adding new mechs and maps.

That's a good idea, I like the idea of talking to people and making friends.
But don't forget to include a friends list though, beacause their are some people who want to keep in touch with their friends while in-game.

I was thinking something like a lobby on the garage screen, faction specific channels and all that jazz. It already does have a friends only IM thing, but meeting people would be sweet. Hell, you could go so far as to enable player created channels so people can get into ither aspects of MW, like RP and such.
