Out of curiousity, any of the old BTECH 3025 or 3056 MU* folks still around?

I was in CGB in 3056.

Gods, it's been forever, I was actually on BattleTech 3065 MUX about 7-9 years ago, and occasionally played Frontier Lands.

Im mud generation I still play one, non-mech one. I tried those "foreign" ones little I especially liked that arena mech game, but we actually had one own back in the days, with GM, events, group of friends, story, own language.

Those were indeed epic times, when I was young everyone sold computers/programs including my dad, so I grew up with them. ;)

Played on '65 and the one that was run by Null...Exile I think it was? Went by the alias Rei (as in Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion).

I've played since... let's see, 3056(original) was winding down and 3058 I believe it was (Periphery based one) was pretty busy. Went by Pytr Valiance, alias pv.

I won't even try to list all the different ones I was on, haven't played since I finished college 10 years ago. But I still randomly get the urge to type ".t<enter>.c<enter>" while sitting semi-idle at the computer.

I remember you, wasn't it something like Rei Ayumi or something like that?

NullExile sounds right. Haven't heard that name in forever, damn.

My alias was usually "DFox". Things apparently don't change, but I doubt I'll be remembered...

Bob here. Brilliant name. Been watching MWO for a while now and it always reminds me of 3030, 3029 and 3065. 3029 and 3065 are still up but not many players around. Great fun. Would love a revival

I remember Null.. he was a character... ;)

Such great memories.

and BTech 4001 was a spinoff of 3065, less fun.. more about the money than the games.. but a good game nonetheless, imo

UCME

AKA Garet Jax (GJ)

3065, 3056 (Rhonda Snord)
AKA too many games to mention

I'm also a 3065 vet. Still have the same nick (Cyt or Cyteen). It's been so long...ah... good times. So what's TJI been up to?

Yeah...Rei Ayanami. I was huge into anime back in high school and as it so happens not only was '65 was my first BTech MUX, but I started playing on my birthday. The name I use here is the one I had on Exile, though I still went by the alias of Rei. I was the FH of Blood Hawk Jaegers way back when during the Confederation scenario that went down.

Cuth -- aside from being a tanker, I remember you specifically for the quote, "Armor is just an excuse for not having enough firepower."

Threedots--I'm surprised 3029 is still up, I thought it had gone down ages ago when I found myself unable to connect.

Fun fact: on 3065, I'm the reason TJI had to put the warning up not to reveal sim info from the Observation Lounge, because after dying during my first few matches while being a newbie that's exactly what I did, not knowing any better, haha. Good times.

Hola-

Just a fyi, I set up a MUx website for folks to catch up with other ex-ACSII folks who are gonna play MWO- mux.enjin.com
Feel free to visit/register, even if you just wanna say hi. We'll probably be setting up a merc company for MWO, but nothing set in stone yet, and there's no reason folks w/ a firm faction preference or other grouping plans can't hang out there too.

(Yer, host/sysadmin from 3056 in the early 90's)

Hey,

Loren_Jaff here.

Man, this could be a mistake... I lost many years to 3056 / 58 / 65.

Yup. Old Btech3056'er here. Even managed to get the correct spelling for my name this time (instead of Rameus.) Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for my metamucil, pills, a bowl of cereal and then bed. And by that I mean I think the new episode of Breaking Bad just started. Seeya! :P
