i´m sorry but it´s not correct.. the main parts are:
lyran commonwelath: german, irish and scottish
draconis combine: japanese, scandinavian and arab
federated suns: french, british and american (usa)
confederation capella: chiniese and russian
free world leagues: russian, spain, italian and latin america
Not quite I think.
FedSuns has more in common with scotts then the lyrans, think of planets like Firgroove and Northwind in the FedSuns. You can't get more scottish then those 2 plantes, and on the other hand I could not name a single scottish planet in the LC.
Lyran has the italians for sure. If I remember that correctly the Kelswa family is of italian origin, and they even went as far as bringing their old family estates (read castles and medieval manors) to the Skye worlds (at least the castle on skye itself is imported stone for stone from terra).
Space US was the old terran hegemony IIRC.
Might be correct on the FWL, the only part I know for sure is that it includes spain, the others were mere guesses on my part.

Get another mod with german language skills and one with russian and you'd have the 3 big groups of BT/MW players covered. Should not be that much of a problem.
Tough your idea sounds good too.

That was the Lestrade family that had its castle moved (to Summer, according to Stackpole's Warrior's Trilogy.) The Kelswa family is from the Tamar Pact, but they get tied in with Free Skye after Ryan Steiner married Moresha Kelswa in 3034 (according to 20 Year Update).
The Lestrades are indeed Italian, though. Not sure about the Kelswas.
The Commonwealth also has a significant Scandinavian population, probably from Rasalhaugians who fled when the Draconis Combine conquered the Principality of Rasalhague during the 24th Century. At the very least, the CBT RPG book lists Swedish as one of Steiner's secondary languages.

guys aswell.
but i made up my mind and picked Steiner to be my house.
Tbh. It was no easy choice, because i never really had the chance to bind myself to one
Particular house (no real MW online experiances (just some casual MWLL stuff).
and im a bit biased about the whole Victor vs. Katrina thing...(read all the books ;D
but thats another timeline right? ^^
But thats my choice.
and i kinda like the one-size-fits-all-Atlas concept ;D
I hope we have a nice and ofc victorious time together.

Personally, I'm reserving a dedicated ton in my Atlas for cream cheese and lox.
After all, crushing mechs on the battlefield is important, but nothing wins hearts and minds like a warm bagel.

That's true, I completely forgot about religion. Not only have we representatives of every major Terran faith, but we've made a few of our own (like the One Star Faith). Atheists are well-represented, too. We even have a Commonwealth Religious Council to help keep things (reasonably) fair.

Forget the language/religion and warm bagels.

Imagine if you will, a sad Draconis Combine planet, with sad Draconis Combine people living sad Draconis Combine lives.
Suddenly, a giant blue and white Atlas crests over the horizon. The pilot hops out and starts handing out these delicious fishy breakfast sandwiches. The people think to themselves, "The Coordinator never gave me any free food. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've been starving for the past few years. These new guys are all right. Maybe I'll start a guerrilla war and put them in charge. At the very least, I'd definitely hide them from the authorities in the unlikely event that they lose a battle."
Donegal Bagels--The Best Psy-Ops Weapon Since Money (Did I mention we're also really rich?)!
P.S. Some of our more "social" mechwarriors might not be above tossing a few bagels on the reactor of a vanquished foe for a toasty snack, but I find they taste too much like radiation. Toasting bagels on one's own mech, however, is a time-honored Lyran tradition and highly encouraged.
