My buddy and Brotherhood of Randis fellow Mashewshmalls, and I, created this Mech art with his high-fidelity vinyl cutter and a granite tile. What do you think?

In this example a 6"x6" piece of black granite serves as the backdrop for a single piece of yellow vinyl.

Is this cool, or what? I think we could produce a few of these for the MWO community as practice... Paul, Russ, you guys interested in a neat coaster for the office?

Well done Brother Prosperity!

I like it, very very well done, and if my eyes don't decieve me that's an Owens if I'm not mistaken?

I'd love to see more examples, perhaps a Highlander or Atlas?

Hope to see you on the practice fields soon sir.

Oh, thank Brother MashewShmalls, he did the actual production, I only helped to plan it.

If you mean round as in could it be wrapped around a round surface, then yes; the vinyl can go on almost anyting with a smooth surface.

It's very different from painting or printing because your background becomes part of the art, itself... Not to rag on painters :D

I'd buy that for a dollar! Or what ever it costs... Could you just make decals. That would be super cool

I think it would look better if you added another layer of viynl in a different color to fill out the rest of the mech with.
It looks lacking, especially on the legs and above the cockpit.

Yeah, this was just an experiment to see what it'd look like, after all it is just a piece of concept art...

Any chance on improving this design, making some others, and selling them as round coasters? I would definitely buy one with a design I liked for $5. =D

I want to do my floors in those tiles. And walls. And ceiling.

That would make a badass shirt.

A shirt made of granite tiles seems like it would be very heavy...

Also: Thanks again Prosperity Park and MashewShmalls! I'll have to steal this from Paul before he gets in tomorrow morning.
