I guess I will just roll with my favorite mech which is the Uziel-2SJ witch replaces the dual PPCs for Dual RAC/5s with 3 tons of RAC ammo, two small lasers and a SRM6 with one ton exstra ammo. I my self would drop the SRM6 and its ammo to upgrade my Small Lasers to Mediums, slap on 2 more tons of RAC5 ammo and upgrade its XL250 engine to an XL270. Its my "Spirit mech" because I always liked the Uziel and RAC/5s are my favorite weapon system.

I have to admit. There's ALOT of cool mechs out there. But my "spirit mech" persay would have to be the Battlemaster. He was the monster in Mechwarrior 1...and always will be

Without a question, the Berserker. Heavy in your face fighter that, if all else fails, resorts to a massive stick. Great speed for its size and more adaptable than you'd think for something with a massive hatchet, the berseker is definitely my spirit mech.

For the light mechs, I gotta go with the pirranha. Nasty, nasty light mech that will ****** mechs 3 times it's size in the blink of an eye.
Medium is all about the storm crow; so many good variants.
Timberwolf because it's just so well rounded.
Either kodiak or executioner for assault.

I would have to go with the Night Gyr Prime. It has a a nice all around punch, is not ammo dependent, has a good amount of armor, and can jump jet up to 120 meters.
