Considerig the Clans have been hitting the periphery for a few months it's not surprising,
But in spring after the game launches they start hitting the parts of the Inner Sphere people actually care about.

I find it odd that the excuse posted (it was also a double-dose of ISN today, I'm okay with this) is better than the weekend of updates we potentially missed. Anyone else think the same?

I'm sure it's nothing but some interstellar neutron particles that has flared out into deep space from a nearby star which is disrupting communications between the nearest HPG station and the Periphery relays.
