Hi there i'm "only" 33, with "only" 17 Years of BT (TT MPBT3025 MW1-4 MC1&2) games on my back (before then my mum wouldn't allow me to play a game that was just about destroying each other .... thinking of that still makes me laugh though)

See you on the battlefield ;)

I'm 17, and I've been playing for as long as I can remember, probably since I was 5 or something. Sure, I'm not as old as some of the guys here, but hey, the good times I had way back when would sort of put me in this category. Sadly, I've never played online on any of the titles though D:
Oh, never played tabletop, but I do have a small number of the more recent miniatures, for display :D

Played MWII on IBM Aptiva 486, loved the game from the start. Own all the computer versions, played on MSN Game Server for years.
Age? Am Viet Nam Combat Vet. That should give you some idea of my age.
Played as House Marik, Clan Wolf, Clan Jade Falcon, Clan Nova Cat, Clan Mongoose, Clan Woverine.
Love the Hellhound, Hunchback, Uziel, Summoner, Timber Wolf, Victor. Would love to try out a Mongoose and a King Crab.

44 here, started off with the original Battledroids! I still prefer 3025 era for the most part, but then I'm a Locust pilot. :) My greatest individual achievement as taking out a Maruader with my Locust all my lonesome. And doing more damage to myself from the charge that killed it then he did to me the whole match!

And just to prove the old timers can do it like nobody else, my greatest team moment was using a periphery militia reinforced company, 2 platoons of rifle infantry, and a light, medium and heavy lance (no pilot with scores better than 4 pilot 4 gunnery) and destroying 2 stars of medium and heavy clanners. :) I was suppose to try and hold for 10 rounds before the merc company in modern mech can in to rescue me but by the time they got there there wasn't much left to save me from!

And yes, I've played every PC version of the game since the original Cresent Hawks. And I LOVE LAMS! Even got the Cresent Hawks reward mech.

I'm 47, started playing the BT TT game in the early 80's. Yep. I'm one old 'Mech jock.

Just remember though: Youthful exuberance and skill can always be overcome by an old guy with experience a few dirty tricks up his sleeve.... ;)

Turning 40 soon. I played MPBT on AOL. One of my all time favorite games. I think if some one were to resurrect the same exact game with the same exact graphics even in this day and age, it would be my favorite. It's not the graphics that won me over anyway, it was the team play. 4 vs 4, 2 vs 2, duels to improve your prestige/standing... community, comradery...what a game!

Kill 'em all. Let God sort 'em out.

I am 51, and played Cresent Hawk Inception on an old Commodor 64! I remember some real interesting games while on patrol on my first submarine ... even got the Capt. involved in one!

I'm 35, started back in '87 or so in a basement with my brother and a few friends and a box set. Played most of the PC games, and shed a tear when Fasa closed. Read most of the novels through to about 3067. All for a merc group of 35+ old-timers!

Age 47. Played the table top game and most of the video games. Commanded Clan Snow Raven in MW PPP. Changed the clans name since then but still keep in touch with a few people from those days.

Turning 50 this year, I have been around since MW 2. Heavy Gear and Heavy Gear 2, Played MW 3
extensively.... as well as some time in MW 4. Tried to like that Starsiege Mech game way back, but couldn`t get used to no turret control.

I very much remember the name "Kensai". Used to play with BillyBones and the other Dropship Command peeps. It would be cool if my old Shadow Guard buddies showed up to play.

Kensai of the 61st Angry Angels Heavy Gear regiment, good to see you again mate, been a long time :-) Some of the old Heavy Gear guard are still around, albeit embroiled in mmorpg games now a days. Some of them might even make an appearnce in MWO if properly prodded LOL. I posted about MWO over on the Rogue Angels site where the remnents of AA and NGA hang out.

Only 47 here, but I had Battledroids too. Used to get the 1/72 scale Robotech models that were the same as those in BT (I actually have a couple of them still!) and just went wiggy the first time BT went from tabletop to computer...still play Ralph Reeds "Mechforce" on an amiga emulator on my PC!

Oh yeah, Hi Shaitan!!!! Shortened my name from Billybones to just Sgt_Bones! Good to see ya mate!

Hehe....I'm in my mid thirties and although I haven't played the boardgame I know quite a lot about it as I was playing a computer "simulation", like 20 years ago or so, called Mechforce.

Its a shame everything today has to be a shooter...but its better than nothing I guess. A boardgame "simulation" would have been to much to hope for I guess even though I think many would think that would be fun also...

I've been gaming since Battletech came out and then when I built my first gaming pc rig. Remember Genie online service, they hosted the first online battle tech game. That was the best back in the day lol. I used to command the 17th Avalon Hussars and before that was the XO of the 20th Avalon Hussar. I played it so much that I had to get a second phone line lol.
