Wow, it's a massive win! All things in this video are epic... Except one.
Spoiler

You Sir are spot on!
It must be nominal. Reasons you ask?! First: verbal variation from all the "online"s before, but second: understatement. "Everything's nominal; reactor, weapons, what have you. Just another nice day of war. Try not to die."

Its the
  • HBK-4J - This variant changes the 'Mech's focus from short range combat to fire support by removing the Autocannon/20 and replacing it with two LRM-10 launchers and three additional Medium Lasers. This variant can act as a bodyguard 'Mech for fire support lances without degrading the mission of those lances because of its mix of LRMs and Medium Lasers. BV (1.0) = 853, BV (2.0) = 1,143[5]

There only six tubes though and even with stacking it wouldn't add up

Srm-6?

Atlas is Awesome! ;) Now i'm feeling so excited about the next week - great trailer, great Mech, great cockpit.

BTW, don't you think that Atlas seems taller than 15 meters if compare him to the technician? No, i don't think it's a defect - rather a virtue.

I guess instead of missle ports, those little yellow / green things are the lens of a lasers? The color on the hunchback teaser seems to match closely the concept art of the arm lasers... So is a visual way to identify weapon loadouts with the colored rings?

HBK-4SP Swapped the AC for a pair of SRM 6.

So its the laser boat version. 1 medium laser in each arm and 6 medium lasers where the AC/20 was.
Or is this one of the pods that was talked about a few weeks ago?

remember how the old fluff for the original atlas art had the lrm 20 firing out of 5 tubes rly rly fast?

similar thing.

having an lrm 20 split into a location where it technically doesn't belong had the potential to cause some problems.

Ahh. I was wondering if the Atlas in this game was going to be carrying two LRM10s or not. Just wiped the ports off one side and doubled the feed-lines into one 10-tube launcher, eh?

This?

Quote

HBK-4SP - The 4SP variant replaces the Autocannon with two SRM-6 launchers. These missile launchers provide the 'Mech with a great deal of damage capability at close range, but they do not have the same raw power as the original Autocannon/20. The 'Mech also has four Medium Lasers as secondary weapons.

It could be a HBK-4SP but with left SRM 6 covered by the clamp.

It clearly says 3049. Didn't know you come from the future. Care to send a copy of the completed game, I'm sure it's in a ComStar archive somewhere. :P

Negative. Easglesham is in East Renfrewshire, just South of Glasgow.

How it got transported to the future is beyond me...but then, if I was that close to to East Kilbride, I'd probably want to leave for 3049 too.
