CSF/CDS do use last names, but from what I can tell they don't inject their Clan's name into their personnel name. So its just Karen Nagasawa and David Kalasa for example as these two are of the first Khans who laid the foundation of the Clan's overall personality and beliefs of the importance of the individual over the pure social collective mentality that most of the other Clans practice.

Yes, but all clanners are born in the iron wombs and are not given the honor of an actual lastname (bloodname) until they have earned one in a trial. My question is what they use in the place of one until they earn one.

Hard to say as Sea Fox is a bit of an odd ball of the Clans as they do not shun inter cast relations nor are they against True born and free birth relationships so it is possible that they do hold a last name if they are free births regardless of their parents in which and decide to give their child either of the last names held by their parents, blood names how ever do not get passed down as we all know.

thanks for the input. I guess we won't know if they did the whole 'Erik Sea Fox' thing unless it eventually shows up in any new stuff they publish. and with the looks of the timeline for this game, might be a long time.

I have never seen any Sea Fox Clans men with 'Sea Fox' in their name, and if they did it would probably just be Fox or Shark, so it would be more like "Elisa Shark" or "Gregory Fox."

It would make sense, seeing as how no other clans are really related to their totem animals. I've just never seen an example of it. I guess nobody else has either, ha ha.
