Joystick, keyboard please. With set ups for mice and such. Game pads, not my thing, I'm not part of that generation, but my son is.

Funny that everyone on here pretty much has said joystick and keyboard - but facebook has blown up with mouse guys.

I always wanted to try a Joystick-Mouse combo!
I believe it would be the controlscheme that gives you the most direct control over your mech;
Mouse > Joystick for aiming, but Joystick > Keyboard for movement...
Finally gotta set that up for MWLL!!!

If PGI goes and sets up deals with a periphrieal company and offers some nice licensed MWO gear I will probably stick with Logitech G700 mouse and Merc Stealth keyboard from Steel Series.

But I also have enough saved up for some IRTracking and a good Joysticks/peddles if you guys offer them.

I'd prefer HOTAS & Peddels, but Keyboard and Mouse or Keyboard and Joystick would be OK.

Looks like a great game, I'm looking forward to playing! I played all the MechWarrior games and really liked them a lot.

The best thing would to be include innate support for the Steel Battalion controller, not may people may have it but damn that control is sweet.

I used to be really good at flying in Battlefield 2/2142 with just my mouse and keyboard. I'll see if I can pull off the same feat in MWO.
