HOTAS. Hands down the best way to get maximum immersion.

Mouse + Key, maximum performance IMO.

Also I don't have a working joystick...

Keyboard and Joystick.

I have a Microsoft Sidewinder 2 Precision I've had for many years. Torso twist, throttle, hat for looking side to side and up and down (death from above :D ) and plenty of buttons for weapon groups.

Gamepads and mouse/keyboard setups are not mech controls....'nuff said

Joystick and pedals or joystick and keyboard for me, thanks. Hell, I'm buying a joystick purely for this game.

@Garth Erlam

Don't wish to sound rude, but why have a Poll going when the majority of followers and die hard MechWarrior fans roam around the forums on mwomercs.com. Why isn't there a poll up on these boards? It's not like I'm going to facebook and account just so I can vote for my preferred control setup.

Mouse + keyboard have served me well all these decades.
Would I like HOTAS or something similar? Yes but not enough room on my setup for that yet.

Muscle memory and just plain tradition has kept me on mouse + key anyways.

They need to do stuff to generate interest on the FB side of things? Keep the people subscribed interested who may not come here?

Neurohelmet and Joystick here (?)

Seriously, i'll go for mouse + keyboard. Keep in mind that not every player is from US/EU. I'm from southamerica and the joysticks are pretty expensive (You may spend 40U$S for a joystick. For example, here a Thrustmaster TopGun Stick costs 450$ (Around 100 U$S))

... The whole point of Meka's post was that it is easier, not that it is impossible. o.O

In that case, my apologies to Mekabuser . ..

When I read it, it sounded like he was saying it was impossible to do with the WASD keyboard control scheme.

Dual joystick control (HOTAS), pedals with modular heads up display with multiple monitor support! Touch screen control support also for modular systems.

I tryed a joystick in MW:LL but I found that driving the mech with the key bord. and aiming with the mouse is best

Most likely Joystick and Key. As long as you guys support joysticks... I will be a happy mecharrior :)
Its all about the sim aspects for me. No more piloting a rubber mechsuit but piloting in a massive Mech War machine..
