I answered the poll with the way I'd most likely play: with mouse and keyboard. That's just the current set-up I have, and use most commonly across multiple games.

I would strongly support a joystick and keyboard option as well, but there's no way to put that as a close second choice in the poll :D

I'll probably initially use just mouse and keyboard, at least for a little while, but at some point I might revert to my joystick.

Twin joysticks plus pedals, ive used this before and found it was the most intuitive way to go.

I`d love to SAY "TrackIR + joystick + throttle + switchboard" but I know I'm going to wind up playing it with my two-button scroll mouse and a laptop keyboard.

I use joystick and keyboard. I use the joystick for weapon groups and torso twist, along with firing. I use keyboard for throttle, and commanding lance mates. Though I also use keyboard for other things like flushing coolant, going reverse, and targeting. Oh almost forgot, I use the joystic to activate zoom when i am trying to blow off a limb from another mech.

Joystick and keyboard. It is the setup I most enjoy with 'mech sims, and seems more intuitive than the other options listed, at least for me. I may try a two-joystick approach at some point just because....

Choices are:

Mouse and Keyboard
Gamepad
Joystick and keyboard
Joystick and mouse
Joystick and Throttle

The ones listed are the options he was polling on.
He was not asking what you used or what you wanted to use, or what set-up you are running for your current Sims.

base off the options I will go joystick and keyboard.

Theres something you should get used to its called freedom of speech unless someone is posting completely off topic, or trolling someone on these forums your statement is completely out of line. I did not say how and why I was using my setup for the hell of it lol, I was pleased at the time after reading the recent dev blog on what set up they were going with on mechwarrior online. So oh no how dare I have some fun posting the setup I have used for many years. So take a chill pill and let people post what they want. Lastly Mechwarrior is not a sims its the best Damn battlemech series of games to date, that ever hit pc.
