So in the entire BattleTech Universe, which 'Mech is your favourite?

I peronally liked the Mad Cat Mk II and the Vulture from Mechwarrior 4 Vengence

I really like so many different types of mechs, but my three fav. mechs of all time are...

Annihilator, Tarantula and Warhawk

I love the Thor (Summoner) ever since I read the Jade Falcon novels with Aiden Pryde, and then I used it like crazy in MW3 and MW4, sadly it wont be in this game for a long while since it is a Clan mech.

I always set it up just like Aiden had his setup in the novel, 1 PPC, some medium lasres, an LBX 10, CLRM 15 and jump jets, and man I rocked it so much because it was well balanced.

Catapult, I like the aesthetics and playing the maneuverable fire support role.

Of course, it's also fun to drop the jets swap out the LRM's for STRK6's and the ML's for MPL's and go to town on Solaris VII

Wow, this is nostalgic.
With everything that's come out so far, my favourites are mostly chosen because of how comfortable I am using them in the games. here are my favourite in rankins.
1) a tie between the Wolfhound and the Flea (wolfhound forbeing able to fit a flamer and still have room for lasers... and the flea for being annoying in urban environment combat as a mobile anti-personnel turret)

2) Commando (my favourite workhorse for quick, uncomplicated missions. can be equipped to dabble with anything, despite limitations. also one of the few humanoid builds for it's size. Only thing that would make it better? Functional hands/manipulators)

3) Jenner (small enough to hide, but big enough to carry weapons to dance with powerhouses. I use this baby to stall for time on any mission requiring a defense line. I've never actually taken down any mech with it, only manage to soften them up. But still fun to use. The jumpjets also help when dodging a few missiles and performing futile attempts at "death from above")

Boy do i love those Timber Wofls........but Shadow Cat is my favorite, gotta lot of memories with her
heck i beat half the MW4 campaign with one SC : )

I adopted a Wraith somewhere through the middle of my tabletop days and made it my calling card. For better or worse. I've enjoyed many others, but I only perk up when I hear anything about the Wraith.

A nice Loki would be fun to have... Me and a friend used to run them on city maps playing Capture the Flag in MW4. We stripped the armor down except on the legs upped the speed and added LBX's to them to chase down light mechs running with the flag. That thing was fast and carried a punch enough to one or at least cripple light mechs. When we killed someone we would /shout: LOKI LOKI LOKI! Haha it pissed the other team off.

Ah it was a fun mech to run with its default config of 2 ER PPCs and some SSRMs.

I have to say Warhammer, but I also love the Marauder and Battlemaster. Yes, I am definitely an old school fan.

I also became a fan of the Bushmaster.

I love the Madcat. It's very iconic for Mechwarrior and I dunno... the design always just worked for me. It looks like a death machine.
