Wouldn't Dragon be good for this role? It's the only non-light that can keep up with them (seeing as everyone else goes 64.8kph or 54kph)

The Assassin is ideal for hunting down the true recon speed-demons. The Jenner is good for this as well.

For running down and eliminating the more combat oriented light 'mechs, I like the Wolfhound or the Clint.
