I hope that the age curve I see here sticks with the game.
I wonder if Old Timers Guild is going to have a MWO branch?

But this is giving me some hopes for the community and in a far sight for the gameplay. :D As it seems most members here already have gone past puberty. So maybe we can play along in peace without flame wars and swear words. :D

Not every teen has to be "stupid" person. Take me as an example. :D
And I have a dilema. Ill turn 15 in few months so when the game will come out, Ill be in that bracket already, but for now, Im in the lower one. Which one to choose?

EDIT: Wait, Im the youngest person here? Thats going to be fun (if it turns out to be true, Ill put it into my signature :))

51 years young baby and if I can get the old Lance back together, you all might just as well press the EJECT button when you see our colors coming, cause your death will not be pretty. The Guard just doesn't do pretty. :D :) :D

Youre going to clear the room for the young generation sir. We will see who is going to run scared after the game launches. :D

Table tops must have been really popular in your age I guess. Just take this and Warhammer as an example. I have never seen so dedicated player base to date. Tabletops now are too boring and lack action. I dont mean action like in a movie, but the sence of a fight. Too bad its so expensive.

I'm not surprised that a majority of us are between the 22 - 32 years range, to be honest. In fact, that's what I'd hope for.

Maybe with more mature players we'll be allowed to create custom decals and play without seeing swastikas and ****** pics everywhere.

Edit: On the other hand, given the relentless censoring on the forums....

I've been trying to collect the MWDA and AOD figurines lately,I have a fairly large collection with at least two full lances of mechs in each great house and several mercenary factions as well. It really does add up after a while, and if you really want the good pieces you gotta dish out the cash:?
Like this if you like MWDA:) Bannson's Raiders baby, Bannson's Raiders.
I'd also like to acknoweledge that the MWDA doesn't exactly compare to the BT board game.

I'm 36 and I've been playing Battletech, in various forms, since 1987. It's been a great blast so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how this version of the game holds up to it's ancestors.

Despite being a young 18. I've actually been playing Mechwarrior since MW2. I miss the blocky pixelation of that game sometimes. When mechs were square blobs with no fully defined shape.

Also I read a few of the novels.

Proud to be a fan though.
