I'm hoping to see the Assassin.

Centurion, it has a nice balanced mix of firepower, armor and speed.

I like the Centurion, espcially if we can get it equiped like the Yen-Lo-Wang like Kai Allard-Liao

Neither one. I will wait until we get almost all mechs and then decide. If a proper Liao design (not a Raven) comes in, or, hopefully, a Shadow Hawk (a man can have dreams, that will maybe fulfill later on), I'll jump right on top of them.

Atlas & Awesome = TOO SLOW!

With Mods, and double heat sinks and a XL motor.. An Awesome can get up to MED Mech speeds..

Can't wait to get my hands on the game and the Mech Lab to start tweaking

I don't think (or want) the Panther to be in at starting, we already got a relatively Iconic Draconic mech in at 35 tons, the Panther won't make the cut for release, though maybe later. I love the Crab, but it won't be in at release either as there are already 2 50 tonners. They'll wanna mix it up a bit more IMO.

Because they only have 1 mech to choose from, whilst we are splitting our votes between the Jenner & the Dragon. And there are a lot more of them. For my money, the Jenner looks the best, but I'm more likely to pilot a Dragon.

I could only think of a few situations where I wouldn't want a hunchback on my side, gets my vote. At only 50 tons you can almost always squeeze it in, and it's got what it takes to play with the big boys.

I want a Guillotine or Grasshopper...

Failing that, I'll take the Awesome, thanks.

I am holding out for a jumping heavy but failing that the Hunchie or Awesome or 'pault will have to do.

Catapult, awesome, or Hunchback. catapult is good fire support, which is my first choice (trying to branch out here...) and then awesome has some brute strength while not being the most powerful mech (a.k.a. the biggest target...), While the huchback will be a brute in an urban environment.

I'm currently leaning toward the Awesome, though the Centurion has always been a favorite of mine (and I'm beginning to like this new one, now that the initial shock has worn off!)

But I've been doing some reading, and I have to say, I may be tempted to pilot a Hunchback, especially if the HBK-4J, -4H, or -4SP variants are in-game. And I really like the redesign of the Commando, too, though I'm not sure I want to make the jump to scout piloting right now... I lean more toward the 50-80 ton range.

I like mostly heavies and lights. Not really big on the Cat or the drag; the Comm has very low armour and is slowish, so that leaves Jenner.

If they release the Orion, however... <.<

I'll sum up this poll.

The one with the most PEHPEHCEHS!!!!111 wins.

It's close between the Centurion and Awesome. I'm so glad the Awesome made it in. One of the cheapest assaults, and no ammo! Lone Wolf approved.
