What was your first call-sign for a MechWarrior game?

I believe that my first one was Princip. I used this for MW2 and the pods. At this time, I had a fascination with Gavrilo Princip and The Black Hand (yah i know he likely wasn't a part of it!).

My first call sign was "hey you!"

But the official call sign was in tribes was "a cute little kitty".

"PlayerX killed a cute little kitty with a disk launcher"

"PlayerY was gunned down by a cute little kitty"

Oh that was fun

Colorfinger is a pretty long standing call sign for me but before that I went by crazyworm. It was a loose reference or nod to Pink Floyd. At times I also used the call sign Oblique (one of my favorites but hard to land), Corncob (I was stuck in a corn farm town), and Cobalt (again, love it but could never land it).

Wow I believe my first was Solomon back in Mechwarrior 2 and 3. I switched to Karver or Corvus in recent years. Good times!

Back in MW2, I used the corny name Vil2us. Yeah I was a lot younger back then and uncreative. Ever since Mw4 (and other online games, for that matter) I've used this name exactly.

Believe it or not, it was Outlaw....back in 2000 when I started playing PC multiplayer games online.
Not very original I know. I tried to change it since, but ppl I play with just kept calling me outlaw regardless...so F it.

Used to be Hell Hound, as I was a part of a couple lances of "Hell Jumpers" until we had a pitched battle with Steiner one day. I was the commanding officer at the time, and we moved our 3 lances of mixed heavies and mediums forward. Immediately Steiner launched their ambush, and we were outnumbered, outweighed, and outgunned, at least three to one. I called for an immediate fall back, after about half a minute of non stop fighting. I noticed one of my lancemates mechs had a damaged leg, and literally covered him back to the fall back zone. I then stayed behind to fight to the death, and killed two Atlas's crippled a third when they finally forced me to eject. I was considered captured, and then could not play for about three days, when I was finally "rescued" I was told by my teammates that my actions were comparable in game to that of a guardian angel. Guardian stuck, and was called that until I pulled a rotation through the Wolf in one of our last "resupply runs,". There I was challenged by a ranking Star Commander, he thought it was unfitting that I should have command over Clan Warriors. Longest fight ever, we spent at least fifteen minutes just picking away at each other, when I finally got an edge. With the kill somebody said I should do a ToP to become a Wolf. I did, but was assigned back to my old unit in the Dragoons, have been that ever since.

As for other callsigns I used Wolf Dragon in aerial combat sims.

Always used "Salaryman" for MW since MW2. Mainly because after a particularly nasty battle I managed to finish off the other side after the rest of my lance was destroyed, including taking down a Mad-Cat and Daishi using a Marauder all I could say "that's what The Coordinator pays us for."
