[Prosperity Park]

I have noticed many occasions where friendships only appear on one of the two friended members' profiles.
Are 1-way friendships possible, or is it a glitch if a friend only show up on 1 of 2 friends' friends lists?


This is a very common phenomenon on the MW:O forums. I can browse someone's friends list, click on a friend to see their profile, and find that the friend has no friends. It also happened between myself and others - I have friended another player and my profile showed up on their friends list, but they did not show up on my friends list. Also I have heard of people friending another player and that other player not even knowing it because the friender did not appear on the friendee's profile.

I think if YOU click the Friend it shows them as your friend.. But you only show up on their page if they approve and agree your a REAL friend

I agree it is flawed system. I could basically add everyone in the community as my friend and they would be there.
I'm talking from my personal experience when I tell, that I didn't get any notification and found out about the "friendship with nubnub only because of one thread aimed at it. He is still not shown on my list of friends, though.

humm... so all of my friends might not really have me as a friend... We need a friend of button then to see who has listed as a friend

This might be a little off topic , but.....what are those 5 stars for/do that are below your name in your profile ? I know I should have a clue , but I don't. ( I think you're right Prosperity it does have that feel and it does'nt pass the smell test.)

People who come to your profile can give you a rating. Like rating of videos, just with people, which is pretty immoral if you think of it.

I want to reitterate that:

• This WebSite Support question is not related to the *[REDACTED]* / Grey Death Legion Intelligence War
  
• I have noticed this phenomenon prior to the Intelligence War, and it has been bugging me for more than a month
  
• This phenomenon appears UNRELATED to the user's bility to show/not show their friends

For me, the time that got me to write this support notice was when I added another player as my friend. I later checked my friends list, found that he wasn't there, and assumed he unfriended me. Weeks later, I think, I jabbed at him for unfriending me but he checked his profile and I was right there. He wasn't on my friends list at that time, so I had to add him a second time before he showed up on my list.
