Ditto what he said. I've been waiting for a new Mechwarrior game for so long. I am pumped to be able to get back in my heavy mech's and start pwning again.

Kind of funny cause last I heard it was an Open beta. This might mean you need a key to get in, but it also means "As long as you meet our system requirements, we're not keeping you from playing it."

Im the kind of gamer that picks 1 game and I play it, live it, and enjoy it for years. It becomes part of the excitement in my life and I share it with my sons and my friends. Imo, you get from it what you put into it. If MWO is half as cool as we've seen, I'll be happy.

So, thanks again PGI, IGP, and all the guys working hard for the community (all of us and those yet to join). 2012 is the year we've all been waiting for.

I have been watching for quite a while now, and love the way it is shaping up...very glad that a company is working to resurrect this game. So, kudos to the development team, and lets hope the fan base can make it worth your while!

Closed Alpha (Internal... current state)
Closed Beta (Friends and Family... coming soon)
Open Beta (Everyone... sometime this summer)
Public Release (Sometime between now and the 2nd coming)

More seriously...Are you then suggesting the possibility of launching to public with clans simply due to the canon timeline/development time parallels, August 13th is coming.

Sorry I used to be in project management before I went to support and root cause. This doesn't change my original post, my appreciation is still whole and good, just the expanding line by line vagueness of your response makes me wonder Mason.
