Anyone Interested in starting up Waco's Rangers? I have always enjoyed this unit and might be fun to RP this unit as cannon dictates (if its available come go-live). I would think it would be Anti-Dragoon, consisting of veteran but hard-on-luck mechwarriors. I'm not looking for anything to formal, just fun people to play with on a consistent basis that don't take themselves and their role in this game to seriously. Hollar at me if interested!

Just keep in mind famous units may not be allowed by the devs in order to protect the lore.

Good luck though hope you find some buddies to play with

I'm glad someone is at least trying to take on the Waco Rangers. Should be, in a word, awesome ;D

Oh I agree 100%. They are key to canon, but waaaaaaay down the road.

Well I hope so, but there are so many Dragoon lovers out there, if I can start this thing up with a few people, we would be against an avalanche :-)

True statement. It's nice to see some variety for a change. Too many dragoon units out there....

Mercenaries are never meant to fit songs of glory. I always felt Waco Rangers exemplified the grim dirty business of a merc's life. Not for praise or for fame but work is work. If the powers that be may allow it, maybe Waco Rangers can be a player driven unit, and if so, honestly wish all you success and good fortune.

There will be a time when the mercenary families will have to draw a line on the sand and choose between the haves and the have-nots, or as I always see it - the choice between following the dictation of the powerful or freedom to choose your own. Will be glad to see Waco Rangers on the field when that day comes.

Well it should be fun if the Unit name is not locked up by the Devs (which it just might be as the strong cannon tie via the Jihad). Now if I can just find some people who are interested.......:-)

Very cool and welcome to the MWO community! I understand there is tons to see and different Merc groups and House to decide on. Like I said at the top of his post, Im just looking to have some fun and if I can whoop some Dragoons. Im here and will be around if your still interested. I hope I can play in the Role of the Rangers......in a legitimate way not just "I claim to be the Rangers" kinda way....would love to take down some Real or Poser Dragoons.....
