Did anyone else play this game back in the day? It's been less popular over the sea in the States, but over here, it was quite popular. It was basically a 1v1 tank battle in spitscreen. Two players, two bases, two tanks and you had no idea which way the opponent is. Three lives, I think and it was a pretty funny game to play with bro, or a friend.
After all those years a pretty small company asked the original author if they could make a bit more modern F2P game which would try to make a new game, but with roots in the original game. Basically, bases stayed, but flags and turrets were added, tanks got a bit of remake and now there are more variants of them. Maps are not made solely of dirt with some rocks now and most of all, it's not 1v1 anymore.
I suggest you give it a try, as it is now in open beta. It is nothing breathtaking, but it is fun, plays a bit differently than games today and it's free and small, so there is no harm in trying it out.
