If they include separate armor locations, I'd love to see the Shield back though. Not a lot of people really appreciated it, but I literally turned it into a life saver so many times I lost count - I could consistently block entire alpha strikes from assaults with it (even though it'd take exactly one hit and die). An overlooked, unique mechanic that'd be cool to see again on the original style design.

If not? Well... you gotta do what you gotta do. Black Knight.

Excalibur: Fast and long ranged, but only carries two weapons, and both are ammo-based.
Black Knight: Nice laser boat, but there are plenty of others like it later on. Completely lost interest in MW4 due to the rampant poptarting
Champion: Truly unique, there could not be a better airplane with legs. MWO also lacks speedy brawlers so far, so adding it would be a welcome addition. Very underpowered at launch, but wait for the CHP-3N at Tukayyid, and the Champion will be full of win. This, hands down.

I beleive you meant the far superior Flashman my friend.
Not sure which to pick here, not a big fan of any of these mechs. Axeman's nice, but it really should have been 70 tons and that would just constantly irk me using it. And if there's no melee combat (and so far I've heard nothing about it being included) then it's biggest reason for existing is moot. Black Knight's a good all arounder, but doesn't jump out at me compared to the more classic heavy mechs. The other two are just meh.

The Blackknight is not a terribly interesting mech imo. I simply don't understand it's popularity. I think people will be surprise that it doesn't jump normally... I'm voting mroe against it than for the Champion...

Black Knight is an all-energy design, which I've never enjoyed playing.
Champion looks cool enough, but it's got poor armor and is hilariously undergunned.
Excalibur lacks any sort of close-range defenses, and it's armor isn't great.
Axman lacks any sort of ranged defense, and it's too slow for my tastes.
If I had to pick one, I'm going to go with the Champion, just because I really want to see FD's take on it.
