Looks like the friends and family are having a good time, I'm glad to see them taking the time to ensure that the bugs are worked out. Hopefully things are going smoothly. For myself while I am anxious to play, I like to see them putting as much polish on it as they can.

I wonder if there will be a chance for casual fans to get to the closed beta. At least a limited set of CB keys or something would be nice.

I doubt it, I think the next phase of testing will be the Open Beta which if the Summer release is anything to go by should be very soon.. perhaps within a few weeks. I follow some of the Dev team on Twitter and asked them if they were going to release any more friends and family codes... "No Word Yet" was the answer i got

I hope to get the beta for Tactics.. thats the part of the game I look forward to most.. Mech Commander is my favorite game of all time.. so i want this more than anything. lol

I would have LOVED to MW:T to have been the next MechCommander, but instead it seems to be a Table Top conversion.
