But the Raven does have all the nifty toys..... ECM, BAP, Tag, and NARC...
I just love those laser guided Arrow IV missiles..... and those Narc guided missiles aren't too shabby either...

wait,if we have 8 mechs now,12 will be at release and these four are most voted,era correct light,medium,heavy,and assault,woudlnt it be logical to put them all to game?

There are few eligible (both canonical and not unseen) 'mechs that didn't get into these polls that Garth has been making. Awesome was one, before it turned up as BattleMech 8. Granted some might have simply been missing because they didn't fit with PGI's vision/concept, like UrbanMech (a light mech slower than many heavies). The lack of some others, like Grasshopper (70 ton jumping energy boat), is more or less confirmation that they will be in the game.
As for it being logical for devs to follow whims of a community that hasn't even played the game, I would rather have them choose designs that diversify the game than just pick fan favourites. If the 'mech otherwise fits in the game it's no problem though.

If we could somehow build, model, animate, rig, skin, mesh, and test them that quickly, sure.

You could have less casual beer Fridays and more work and then we get more goodies when the game comes out. Wait, that means you guys would be more angry. Never mind, more casual beer Fridays and I would much rather have a game made well by well adjusted people than shoved out the door by angry gnomes.
