If I look at a mech. And see a Bushwacker´, it is reason enough for me not to call it a Raven.

Raven looked like a raven. Beak, legs,... This has nothing from it and the sharpness of it reminds me too much of Bushwacker.

Eh I expect that all 4 mechs in the poll will actually be in the game. It's a common marketing trick. Vote for your favorite! Then give all of the possible choices. It makes you look generous I'm actually fine with that, I'll ride a Dervish or a Black Knight till I can get my Wolverine.

Not sure why there's so much hate against this Raven. Compared to some of the other 'Mechs released, the Raven looks the pretty much like its original design. Sure it's a bit straighter, but it's also more contemporary and matches the style of the other MWO 'Mechs more. As for this Raven not looking like a real raven, ravens have relatively less curved beaks than the original Raven, which looked alien to me. Posting to give a different perspective.

I fear that the release of the Timber Wolf would make lots of folks mad. I thought it wasn't too much of a concern when FD first mentioned this. I realize I was wrong.

Apparently, it's all in the nose. that little 2% of the surface area that the tip of the nose takes up makes all the difference. As-Is, it looks like a greyhound. With a little tweaking, bam, Raven again. I'm not even a fan of the mech, but I figured I had to at least point it out.

I agree, that little bit goes a long way to make it look more like what I was expecting.

I think the new Raven design has a more military look to it which is pretty cool. It looks like the nose has a sensor package which is true to it's purpose as a scout mech. The original design was cool, but more form than function.

I agree it looks like that might be the BAP or TAG or GECM lodged in there, but that can easily be relocated to the top of the torso (big flat area near the back) or slung just under the nose, closer to the hip actuators and accomplish the same 'sensor array' look without sacrificing the 'raven' look.

That being said, Devastator. Why? Its just Awe inspiring. The black knight is really cool, but the devastator just has my imagination captured. Plus, its the only way I will ever like the urbanmech.

That, and we already *have* the raven, we already know its cool. and the dervish is just bleh. In my eyes its between the black knight and the Devastator.

Oh ya I totally understand the fuss about the old Raven. I mean, didn't you guys see how the things down-curved nose and huge exposed cockpit could deflect weapons fire so well!? I love the new militaristic design, and I can't wait to dish out C-Bills to have one of these babies in my arsenal!
