Swamp-Thing.

Spent a lot of time campaigning through some swampy terrain. Names stuck ever since.

No way, if your 'Mech's Vera then I wouldn't be able to pull the trigger... Posted Image

Sorry :( But on the bright side, you'll see her, mostly likely just before you get shot out of your own ride. :P

I think I will revive my mech Chunky.
When the Dragon starts running with that pot belly it looks funny.

Upgrade the engine to max and watch Chunky chase down scout mechs....
Nom Nom Nom! Slow down! I just want to eat you Jenner! You look like Cheezeburger...

"Reactor Online. Weapon Systems Online. All systems online"

Isn't it supposed to be 'All systems nominal'?

Also are you naming mech' inside VI or the actual mech itself? Or is it the same thing?

BTW I don't remember a lot of VIs in BT books I've read. Actually I don't remember reading about them at all.

I'm going with Rebel Yell as a call sign/nick for my Mad Dog when I get her back.

I never really thought to think of a name for it when I was first playing MW3 back near its release, but a few years later I was playing BF:EOD and I nicknamed my huey(s) Rebel Yell(cause they wanted more, more, more B) ). I noticed a similarity to the tactics and design of how the Vulture worked to the EOD UH-1's(hit em hard with LRM's at long range, and finish em off with guns), and immediatly knew that if a MW game came out with the ability to mark callsigns on the mechs, it would have to be Rebel Yell.

You know, looking back and thinking about it, it seems people are mixing in what they would name their mechs, name they're AI, and have as a call sign. I think it will lean more over on the side of using it as a mech name than a call sign as it would feel a little odd to say over comms, but we'll see how it all works out when the game is online. As for an AI name... it never really occured to me to name the AI itself... so I guess I just won't.
