"Shutdown sequence: Initiated."
"Override! Override!!!"
"How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?"
"Oh crap."
"Sh-sh-sh-shutting down."
"Damn you, Shodan!!!"

Maybe I'm really old fashioned, but I want mine to be a totally dispassionate voiced "computer" and I'd name it so. It would be female gender but almost neutral in tone. I like my warnings to be concise and passionless. My mech's computer is just another tool in my arsenal and I don't feel as though I need to anthropomorphize it one bit.

As for the mechs name, I'd have to go with Valhalla. I'm shooting for it when I start my mech career and I want my journey to be a fabled story glorious to behold.

My mech must earn it's name. I'm sure in the heat of the moment or after action I'll come up with something appropriate. After all, it's not just a computer, it's the whole mech.

Equus, voiced by Morgan Freeman if possible. I'll be so engrossed by his voice, I won't notice the barrage of missles that are about to hit.

Yeah I name all my Battlemechs, all the ones I use and all the one's I paint. I had a Hunchback named Popeye, a Hellspawn named L'l Darling, and a Catapult named Smiley. I have done art repaints of both Popeye and Smiley.

Lol, that guys voice is so comforting he could announce to us all that the world is going to end in five minutes and everyone would remain calm and collected.
