This new artful remake of the raven is the perfect example of "love at first sight"

Awesome work, whoever designed it! For the first time i actually WANT to pilot a light mech. I've always been a medium/heavy mech pilot.

OH! and I think the new look is superb. The curvy "beaked" look of the original isn't all that military looking IMO.

What stands out to me is that an entirely black sword is used instead of the standard silver blade and dark hilt on the Federated Suns logo. The other published concept art pieces with Federated Suns markings (indicating association with House Davion instead of the Federated Commonwealth) used the silver blade in the logo.

That sort of matches the forum art for House Davion associated people.

The other (unit) logo is for the 1st Crucis Lancers.

Really love the new design for the Raven... and all the 'Mechs so far! Definitely looks like a little menace now compared to the old drooping beak design of the TRO of old (and MC2's out of proportion size) Once again the Devs are proving my faith in never giving up on Btech Universe

It's a First Crucis Lancers unit logo, a standard FedSuns (NOT FedCom) logo, and a French flag. Did I miss something?

In fact, dinosaurs as monophyletic clade include birds. So strictly speaking, birds are not just related to dinosaurs but rather they are dinosaurs, the only living branch of the family.

(Clades are the "new" way of systematics, and the one that scientific community uses these days)

Anyway, i personally like the redesign over the smooth "Ferrari-beak" that the TRO one has. It looks more rugged.
