Like the new design a lot. Looks very military stealth (like the F-117 Nighthawk) in the cockpit section and that fits the purpose of the Raven well.

Raven has always been the poster child for sneaky kills, annoying mobility, and advanced electronics. Hoping the devs can pull off the latter ingame, because otherwise the Raven won't be the same.

That said, I have no issue with the new design direction. I am a little put off by how much of a doofus this vignette implies assault pilots are, especially with all the "whining" and such.

Love the new look, nice to have this superb scout mech on hand. Not sure i will pilot it but I'll be happy to see members of my scout lance in it. What commander could say no to more and better info?

Anyone else notice the 500m range mention on the PPC's? Looks like there will be some sort of optimal range for the weapon, hopefully there is a hard and fast min range to go along with that too.

I do think it's more like a caimen, in fact that's excatly the species set I had in mind (not alligators, crocodiles, or lizzards... but spefically caimen for some reason).

The nose is more of a sad dog than a birdish beak, but other than that I don't have too many problems with it.
I'm also pleased it has Davion colors considering how it was a Cappie design mostly.

I can't say I didn't think the Raven would be in the game at release. 3049, the Raven is top of its game. It just screams 3049 with it's black magic thingamajigs.

Well not my taste of Raven, but I still wait for a redesing of those crappy 80's mechs not the newer style ones.

I mean when I look at a Clint or an Ostroc... it still hurt my eyes... those clunky square feets...
