I think this would be my favorite light mech… if the Hussar would not exist. But with Hussar this is my 2nd favorite.

The Raven is THE premiere scout mech.
Good speed, well-armored, enough weaponry to pack a painful sting and defend itself against other lights, and most importantly, it has all the electronic goodies a good scout mech needs to gather information, keep out of trouble, and help lancemates bring the pain. My light mech is gonna be a Raven all the way.

Also, I don't know what you people are complaining about

The original design isn't like a bird's beak. So, this is actual closer to the original design.

Actually, the Archer was one of the original Battletech designs, predating the Longbow.

Chronologically, the Archer-2R dates to 2474, the Longbow first shows up in 2480. In TT, the Archer showed up with the original rulebooks, while the Longbow premiered in a magazine article and later Sorenson's Sabres, the sourcebook as an official design. Both share the Unseen designation courtesy of their original artwork coming from Macross/Robotech.
