They're lacking fast mechs... especially medium. All of the mediums they have now are slower than the dragon, and that's a heavy! What the hell?
So I'm hoping for an Assassin or Cicada...

My guess would be the Dervish.

My guesses are:
Dervish for the mediums, it's a faster medium 'Mech for the timeline with above average fire support capabilities and thanks to JJs it's even more mobile to make best use of these capabilities.
Grasshopper for the heavies. Its absence from the polls is suspicious enough, its armament and mobility are good enough to validate its implementation in the game.
Stalker for the assaults. This one has one of the best weapon loadouts of all the assaults available at the time.
All three 'Mechs are fan favourites and iconic designs.

What I would love to see: Griffin, Orion, or Highlander

Not to run off topic, but is there any chance of seeing Rotary AC's in this game? And if they are in can we PLEASEEE update the weapon to allow for a high speed burst fire with a potentially fatal jam tradeoff? I remember playing in MW4 Mercs and I liked the idea behind the RAC but it was to slow, I would have gladly traded a high risk medium grade weapon with a significant fail rate to offset the Heavy Pulse Laser, which was a real joke when you online played. Also will NARC's be able to drag ANY free missles without target lock? It would be nice to fire barrages of LRM's and have a scout charging around NARCing the targets....makes for lights and mediums against heavy and assaults matches more interesting. This game has so much potential....

And for me, Hellhound. Good meduim chassis. I am getting a picture made for my truck. "My other ride is..."

We'll likely be seeing the Darvish followed by the Orion or Warhammer(if they add unseen), then ending with our Mauler or Stalker.

Their releasing has been: Light->Medium->Heavy->Assault->Light, so they will likely continue this.

Remember:

-Must be Innersphere designs (No clan mechs).
-Must be existing in 3049 timeline.
-Probably an iconic mech that will will 1 of 3 roles perfectly. (brawler, command, support)

Lights:

Raven: Electronic warfare
Commando: Electronic/brawler
Jenner: Brawler

Mediums:

Hunchback: Brawler
Centurion: Protecting missleboat/support
?Darvish: Missleboat

Heavy:

Catapult: Missleboat
Dragon: Protect missleboat/support
?Orion: Brawler
?Warhammer: Bralwer

Assault:

Atlas: Brawler
Awesome: Long range support
?Stalker: Missleboat
?Mauler: Multirole

This seems most likely to me, It would allow lances of any weight to have the full roles needed. Aka 3 mediums, 1 light or 3 heavies 1 light, or 3 assaults 1 light and a lance would be functional. They would all have the same roles at different weights.

But hey, who knows, it's all educated guessing.

I would love Vindicator, but that is a lost cause (even though it would please almost all Capellans and Kuritans would get their Panther in a bit bigger version). No unseens, for obvious reasons. Stalker seems as a fair pick for the last assault, the second being the Mauler, but I would not bet on him. For heavies, maybe Orion, or a Highlander. ^_^

If its a medium I'd say something like a Dervish or Shadow Hawk

If its a heavy then maybe a Thunderbolt or Guillotine might be good choices.

ROFL

who's angry

Just wishing people would realise that harping on about clan tech aint gonna make it get here sooner ;)

ok, lets wish this month away so we can get to see the next mech.

may 23rd or 30th, whichever they choose to post as the official last wednesday of the month, cant get here soon enough :D

LOL @ harping. haha. I mentioned my favorite medium mech once so far. :) I don't know the history of every mech, sorry. I wasn't 100% sure if this mech was avail at this time since it's listed on Sarna.net's wiki as being produced as early as 2948. And often omnimechs seem to turn out to be IS mechs originally that got redesigned by Clans at some point later. So, I merely listed a mech I was hoping maybe I had a chance to see. :) I had a crazy variant of this in MW4 that I used for solaris with some success. (was kind of like a hunchback 4P but faster)

Maybe I am misreading your post if so I apoligize but I am sure the Vindicator is not an unseen mech there is no reason it cannot be included. It probably will be in maybe not in the initial group but soon after.

Man I would love the Cataphract in the Heavy spot so much. Orion would also be totally A-ok by me. Tons of history in the Battletech universe, and a great design. Or the grasshopper! That would really fill out the role of a brawler in the heavy class just as well as the cataphract.
