To be honest, I would like to actually see a 20 ton mech. To bad the Unseen had that covered in spades so we will not see the better 'classic' mechs of that range.
There will be alot of time, and there are /alot/ of mechs of various weight classes that I would like to see the light of day from the 3025 TRO alone. I really hope it doesn't really take them an entire month to do a mech and that they have a bunch already done.

Its not much but u dont have to start from scratch
but the warhammer is an Unseen mech and caused a law suit from the F-Sticks at harmony gold and delayed the game for 2 years
one thing the next mech will not be is Clan mech or an Unseen mech so if you post it there is a sign for you

So I'm hoping for an Assassin or Cicada...
We REALLY need a FAST mech. A mech that focusses it's main defense and offence as pure speed. I reccomend the Hussar as a light, Assassin or Cicada as a medium just like errorabbit said. please... I like to go FAST!!

You also have to take into consideration different 'mech variants. If each 'mech has 3 variants (which means different hardpoints,) then that's 36 different variants they have to make and ensure that they work right. 12 is a good starting number, 3 light, 3 medium, 3 heavy, 3 assault.

You're probably out of luck, soon as they named the Raven the next light 'mech that category is most likely closed to any new 'mechs. As I said earlier in the post, it's most likely following a 3 light, 3 medium, 3 heavy, 3 assault formula for launch 'mechs.
Also, the Commando, Jenner, and Raven can be modified to run even faster then what they are now (not like the Commando is a slouch in that category.)

You are probably right, but there is still hope for a REAL FAST medium like the Cicada!

I think for a heavy, the Jagermech seems like a pretty obvious choice

JagerMech and Blackjack were insanely popular in MPBT: Solaris as they had nearly immediate reload times for the AC/2s - fading on a lance level was a very valid tactic back then, but I feel that the Catapult already fills the niche of a heavy support platform, and we need more of a brawler type of 'Mech. The only thing that really fits that billet that isn't unseen is the Orion.
