Never was an atlas fan most of my mech3 and 4 days atlas was seldom played really. They look neat and the most recignized problablay but blah.Rather see a Devistator with its 18 tons of armor, Pillagers another nice one with its 19.5 tons of armor and Emperor 17 tons of armor but like the pillager has jump jets.nice for city and in close fighting and always liked the Banshee with all its different loadouts. Catapult little guy that generally gets it rocket launchers shot off quickly as they stick out above main mech 9 tons armor. Would have rather seen an archer with its 13 tons or armor.
rest dunno Hammerhands maybe if we cant have Warhammer. Dervish prob fine. I'd have to figure they decided on mechs long ago just to get them made. Galahad pretty good and Orion

Huh so I finally went down and googled the reseen mech's and... I have to say I rather like the designs. Some of them even better than the originals. I hope we can pick up the chassis on the cash shop or whatever sometime. Those are nice.

I dont believe we will see any Stalkers. They were never really a fan favorite and there are many more widely used more well rounded Assault mech that could be used. And with there not being any hand to hand/close combat... at least not yet, I dont see the Hatchetman being added just yet. Or the heavier Axe Man either.

I would like to see: Dervish or Blackjack (with PPC variant) for Med, Warhammer or Grasshopper for Heavy, and Highlander or Victor for Assault. I'd love to see the Hatchetman and Axeman and other club wielding mechs later in the game but I don't know how melee combat would work with this system....

In my days of paper and pencil battletech on the weekends... My favorite mech were the panther, the medium wolfhound and or the heavy grasshopper. All jump jet capable and all well rounder for their weight class.

I agree with Orion for a heavy. I have no idea about a medium there are quite a few that are good. As far as assault goes Zeus would be nice. Also if some or any of the unseens are included the thunderbolt would be nice.

What do you mean by unseens as far as the thunderbolt goes?

I really do want a Highlander for the next Assault slot. But I feel like a Stalker would be a good choice. It is the most common Assault 'Mech in the IS and it has a HUGE variance in weapon load out meaning you could hopefully get what you want out of it in a generic chassis.

That makes me think we really needs the Wasp and Stinger for lights to since they're supposed to be incredibly common...

Medium: One on the lighter-end; something like an Assassin or Phoenix Hawk.
Heavy: Marauder or Orion I'd like!
Assault: BattleMaster or Highlander

while i would love to see the unseen in the game,...i am begining to have my doubts.
While the warhammer was in the first movie, none have been released as an in game mech., as of this posting anyway =]

I know someone is gonna say---> "but there are soooo many mechs to do",
Let me once again point out that the warhammer was in the original movie for this game. It was fighting an Atlas (currently in game). If the unseen were gonna make it into the game the warhammer would have been released at the same time as the Atlas, it was afterall one of the first mechs introduced via the movie.

So far these guys have been like a bad first date, full of promises but just not putting out.

just because they showed one fighting the Atlas in the vid does not mean it should have been one of the first confirmed mech for this game. That has nothing to do with what will or will not make the final cut for the intro mechs at launch. now... with that said, I can see the Warhammer at some point being released. If they took the time to design it for the fight scene vs the atlas, than there is a great chance to see it in the game. No disrespect to you or anyone else that calls all the past Harmony Gold designed mech (UNSEENS) but that name really bothers me as those (Unseens) that everyone keeps calling them will not ever be seen but the Warhammer we did see here or any of the others can be seen in this game or any Battletech/MW game as they are not the same mech designs that were fought over. The Warhammer we see in the vid is not the same design as the Harmony Gold Tomahawk... nor is the Longbow the same design as the Spartan and so on.

The Warhammer has been redesigned for battletech, along with the Archer, Wasp, Stinger, Valkyrie, Marauder, and Pheonix Hawk. The redesigns are /not/ bad, at all. I actually kinda prefer the redesigns over the originals in a lot of way. I'd love to see reseen (Redesigned) Marauder in the game.
