Light: Wolfhound
Medium: Phoenix Hawk
Heavy: Warhammer
Assault: Battlemaster
I would be happy with some nicely done "reseen" designs for all of those.

Say wut? I'm not a heavy mech pilot but I'd say that the Catapult and it's K-2 varient are two nice mechs. You've basically got a Missile Boat and a Laser Boat in one mech.
So what do heavies need? A ballistic-heavy brawler? I could go for that.
Edit: Not to mention the Dragon which is a great

Lights - Commando/Jenner/Raven
Madiums - Hunchback/Centurion
Heavies - Dragon/Catapult
Assault - Atlas/Awesome
LC - Commando/Atlas
DC - Jenner/Dragon
FS - Centurion/
CC - Raven/Catapult
FWL -
General - Hunchback/Awesome
So my guess is next mech is a medium. And it'll be a fire support. Since we already have a Davion medium I would say it will be the Trebuchet so we have a FWL design.
Mech 11 would be a heavy and it would be a general purpose heavy. Dragon is a speedy heavy and the Cat is fire support. So I see it being the Orion. That also means a really easily customized design with varied hardpoints.
Mech 12 is an assault, and my guess is a support. Toss up between a Zeus or a Longbow

We have two slow but tough mediums and two very frail heavies

Nah, that looks about right to me, and besides that's how it's always looked in the concept art.

Meh I can't wait till the clans come. They have three of my favorite mechs!!!!
Timber Wolf
Cauldron-Born
Bushwacker
Guess I'm not too familiar with pre-clan mechs. I'll have to look into it more.
Sorry to burst that bubble, but the Bushwacker is an IS mech. You might be thinking of the Vulture (Mad Dog to Clanners).

Yeah I got mixed up. What I meant was I can't wait till the clans come so we can use three of my favorite mechs. I did't mean to say that bushwacker was a clan mech. Sorry.

I am not a fan of either design. When I think of all the mechs they can be using and I get a Dragon, Catapult and now a Cicada ......ugh.
I'm hoping they are saving the best for last.
I know alot of the mechs I love are the unseen. I have no expectations they will be in game, but can a brother get an Orion, Grasshopper, Panther, Wolfhound, Enforcer, Trebuchet, Banshee-S or King Crab for the love of Kerensky !!!!!!

Well that screws up my guessing streak... of choosing mechcommander mechs as the ones that would be added.
I was right up to the last one, Raven.
