No. I think they will stick with common, iconic designs and then add old Star League mechs as some bigger expansion. :)

They're going in Light->Medium->Heavy->Assault order it seems, so the next is probably the Dervish. Though I'd rather a Cicada or Kintaro appear instead...

I would'nt mind the wolvine thats as tough as its name sake

I don't think that we'll be seing anything unusual for 'Mech #10. But for unsusual designs (by the loadout), anything without beam weapons is unusual (Bombardier, Excalibur). In terms of being just silly, I'd say bring in the Charger or Banshee. But nothing is more unusual than a light 'Mech that is slower than 99% of the assaults, bringing in the punch of a 50t 'Mech, and that looks like R2D2 on legs... Hail to his unusualness, almighty UrbanMech :D

Stomping into the mine field that are the Unseen, seing one of them for 'Mech #10 would qualify as being unusual, too.

I'd Count the Dervish as fulfilling the wish behind this post if they get it in. I don't recall that I've ever seen that mech playable in a Mechwarrior title before. It gets mentioned in some of the novels now and then but never in a starring role. That would shake things up a bit.

I'd need to mop up my drool if they did a Dervish. One of my favorite mechs, and seeing them update it would be awesome.

Some less common Age of War mechs?

Ymir?
Guillotine?
Hammerhands?
BattleAxe?
Banshee?
Hector?
Icarus?

In all seriouseness though, we don't have much chances to see them. Besides, maybe, Guillotine and Banshee. Most of the designs are completely lost or museum-rare.

that Hammerhands looks delicious,I love it

Yes please give us some new interesting mechs that we haven't seen in multiple games before. There are plenty of great alternatives to the tired old regulars we have mostly (hurray for the Centurion!) been seeing so far.

It has to be the Marauder, MAD-3R. And yes, I know it is "Unseen". That is why, if it were to make an appearance, it would be such a head turner. This alongside the Warhammer, WHM-6R, were the original images of the Technical Readout 3025, and the Battletech Boxset.

Harmony Gold arguably does not even hold the rights in the US from the correct original owner. Still, that never stopped them threatening litigation.

Archer! Effectively used by both Inner Sphere and Clan forces. Can you picture Wolf's Dragoons without a an Archer or three?

My wish would be for a Phoenix Hawk, but that is not going to happen. Second best would be an up armored Clint, Assassin, or Vulcan. For that matter I would be happy with a Chameleon. Just something that can fill the P Hawk's role.

A Chameleon would be an interesting choice. Since that is supposedly the Inner Sphere's primary training mech its surprising it hasn't been included in more titles. I'd get behind that choice.

... Hm, maybe a Blood Kite?

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Blood_Kite Manufactured in 2907.

Imps, maybe.

I'd say bushwacker, but that is 2053. So what about the Bowman?

And my favorite: http://www.sarna.net...ner_(Gladiator) TEH EXECUTIONER! :D

Those are all Clan mechs...

Just because they were produced before the game begins doesn't mean they would be available, since of course the Clans haven't shown up yet.

...Cyclops, or maybe Jagermech?

http://www.sarna.net/wiki/UrbanMech My last choice :D

I think Adridos is right. But it don't stop me from wishing for a Mongoose, Urb, Imp, or Flashman. :P

I'd love to see the Bushwacker. Just an all round great Medium mech. The only problem is that currently its in developmental stage right now and is sadly running into problems with its electronics and stuff. So the Bushwacker is around, it just is not mass produced yet till later in the invasion when the IS captures several Clan tech, most notably from the Vulture which is what helps solve the technical problems.
