I say no more than a minute, and less in public games for sure. In the latter, you can expect to have no better, vague 'strategies' than "everybody rush here!" or "play defensively" that don't matter much, and complex ones will surely not be followed.

being willfully ignorant. WoT and MWO have little in common in gameplay, but that doesn't mean they don't share anything: common features not directly related to gameplay. You can compare any two games, even across genres, and find that "hey, game X and game Y both have multiplayer, even though X is an FPS and Y is an RTS!" Even better, the devs have said that MWO's games are played in individual matches, just like World of Tanks
, so similarities between the games are bound to come up again. Notice that nobody has mentioned anything
about WW2 tactics translate into Battletech's tactics; that is your own construction and you have only made a strawman.
