Today is Thursday, and that means a new screenshot. I figured you guys would like a good shot of the Cataphract, so here you are. I'm looking forward to seeing these on the field. What do you guys think? Let us know! Oh, and feel free to comment below!

Ideas for more screenshots? Something you want to see? Tell us!

Thanks for tuning in everyone, and see you next week!

Cheers,

Something about the overall silouette is less than impressive. I think it looks too top-heavy, very broad shoulders, large arms, and small legs.

Personally, I think it's a sexy beast. It looks very sturdy. I look forward to being inside one and seeing what it can do!

I like the cataphract, but in this screenshot I noticed this too. The legs look a little small to hold that torso up.

If we compare with the concept art, we see a mech that is much taller, with much more robust legs and smaller, less ape-like arms

The overall physique of the mech seems radically different; the screenshot is more squat, while also being broader and with thicker arms, shoulders, and torso.

Loving it, and I can't wait to by this as my Heavy Mech of choice!

Otherwise I Disagree, the concept art and the screen-shot are pretty close in dimensions, with only the legs looks slightly shorter, the broad shoulders and arms appear to be pretty much the same.

Arms are damn large. I can imagine they will go off very quickly in each match.

Left arm and missile pod look way to big compared to rest of mech besides that looks good.

The knees are bent, but I do see the point. I still like the look of it. Maybe when it walks the legs extend more like the concept art.

Going to be easy to land shots on that thing. Hope the head hit box is small.

Depends on if they let it have a 350 engine rating or not. That would make it a 5/8 (86.4 kph). I can see some real potential should they not handicap it with a low engine cap.

That's the first thing I noticed. It doesn't look real.

Pretty sure it comes with a 280. So following MWO's 1.2x modifier for heavy mechs, its max engine size will be 335. Giving it a top speed of 77.53 kph
