Is there anything known about the Dev's planning to pit us in PvP matches like the Solaris Games on Solaris VII like they are discribed in the "Warrior Trilogy"

I feel this would enrichen the background and give us Lone Wolves and Outcasts a chance to seek Glory in the Bloodsports.

It would also open the door to a league system cut loose from the ongoing timeline and wars.

What are your thoughts?

They will add Solaris, just not at launch. At least that's what I hope.

If i remember correctly,In another thread a dev did say they were considering or going to put it in at some time. lets hope it doesn't take to long to be put in. I think it would be a excellent addition to this game.

I said a while ago that I thought it'd be great if there were weapons made for optimizing mechs for Solaris 7 matches. My hope is that there would be close combat in the game to begin with, and then we could start making some of the really out there modifications you only see in the arena. Wrecking balls, spikes, shields, power drills, Centurions with AC/20s because of the close quarters fights that can take place in an arena (Yen-Lo-Wang!).
I still hold out hope for this.

As i have said before adding Solaris would be a great way to expand the game later when they have the core game running well.

Add to that a view option so that people can watch the matches and bet on them and you have a great eSport

Solaris was cool. It's somthing I enjoyed alot in MW4.
