I would beat an old lady with a stick for an original Marauder.

i would beat Paul with a sack of 100$ in pennies for a warhammer. it would hurt ever so much.

"question: did the developers, ya know, those making this game state: we WILL have a warhammer? no? not yet? then, in MWO this mech is not valid. Until the developers state otherwise, till then, its unseen. "
Someone's mad that no one's excepting his opinions as fact ^

But regardless the arguement over the Warhammer is irrelevant, our bickering wont make the game release any quicker, nor will it have any impact on the game.

The speculations have escalated to "You're wrong, no you're wrong, no f**k you you're wrong"

how about we get back on topic?

i expect more of the measureing contest as we become more restless as the dawn of our new day approaches.

As to on topic, we will get an idea of what our final wednesday this month will bring if the devs put out a poll for us on what we thinks coming. just a thought.

Battlemaster.

Battlemaster.

Almost forgot.

Battlemaster.

They look awesome. A commanders mech. I don't care how they perform because once your in game or at the table most mechs functioned the same. So years and years ago. Before dinosaurs roamed the ancient earth I picked 1 mech from 3 classes that were my favorite then and still remain so today. Looks, not weapons. That's what a mech lab is for. Yes i have every TRO that came out and bought them with in a month of original publish.

TRO 3050 page 193
BLR-3m Battlemaster 85t Assault

TRO 3025 page 86
CRD-3r Crusader 65t Heavy

I never really picked a medium mech.

TRO 3050 page 59 or TRO 3025 page 12
STG-5m Stinger 20t Scout LAM mode

I'm Clear.

Why would anyone be screaming at me? I was simply trying to be helpful and show how the Warhammer could easily be in game without any problems with copyright at all. Oh well.

As to if I want the Blitzkrieg? No, it's not a well designed mech imho and far to limited for general combat.

Who else would love to see the Phoenix Hawk? I always thought of that one as the iconic 3025 medium 'Mech.

I like the idea, but I'm not feeling the things they strapped to it's back to duplicate the jump-jet towers. I'm sure the artists for MWO could clean that up though. I love this weight class... fast enough to be a scout, powerful enough to hunt enemy scouts, and enough firepower to be dangerous in a flanking maneuver.

LAMs, Tripodal, and Quadrupedal mechs would complicate things way to much lol

If I see an Ares I'm gonna cry

Many many many years (Several decades) before the 150 ton Ares exists, no worries there.

No it was simply a mech, and technically they were called FAST Packs. No real reason for Battletech to call them gigantic jumpjets but whatever I guess. Though the 3085 book does indeed have a Pheonixhawk LAM, as well as Stinger, Wasp, and Shadowhawk. They looked rather different though...would have to hunt around but I didn't care for them much.

Far as arguing over what's in the game...I highly doubt to many outside of PGI have that plan so arguing over it is stupid. I wouldn't mind a Warhammer, not a Macross Tomahawk but a polished redesign maybe. Though I don't know, hope it would stack up. I might be down for a Marauder but they need to raise the barrel so I can see out my window first! Axman would be nice...now that I look at the list there aren't many other heavies I really like much and I used to love heavies.

Ah, here is the Phoenixhawk honestly LAMs could work but I don't see why they needed to look like modern aircraft mixed with Battletech rules.

Fast packs were a province of Macross/Robotech, I'm talking pure Battletech here :) The picture I posted was a picture of the reseen phoenix hawk, I can put one up of a reseen phoenix hawk in LAM mode if you like, or can do a google image search if you wish. It does look a fair sight different than the original for sure.
