Seriously, were I a Mobile Suit pilot, given the chance I'd take a 120mm machine gun over a beam rifle. Why? Higher rate of fire, more ammo, and zero energy required to fire one - meaning I can put more of my power output to my thrusters. If I run into anything with Gundarium or Phase Shift armor I'll just shoot it's eyes out and beam saber it. Beam guns are for noobs with no style.

A tank-leg mecha from Mobile Suit Gundam, the original series. It's an artillery support mecha with cannons and missile launchers but it has **** for close combat or self-defense capability.



Looks cool tho.

I also blame you, for Hayashi not realizing that not only did I mention Gundam in a BattleTech Forum, I've done so before, and I started a thread on what your favorite gundam mecha is yesterday.

Before the end of the week every BattleMech will have a golden V fin! MUAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!
