I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, but I was curious as to what all is out there for information in ink-and-paper or .pdf format regarding the Republic. Would the best resource be the ComStar sourcebook/field manual-thing?

Thanks!

EDIT: Note to self: Do not post late on a Friday....

The 20 year update sourcebook is the best there is for the FRR.

When it comes to the FRR, it's all

The Blood of Kerensky trilogy has a little bit, if you're looking for "novels".

You could check the link in my sig, but also the 20 Year Update has some good info. A book called Brush Wars has a section on the Ronin Wars, pretty neat stuff there as well.

FRR has been criminally overlooked in the lore and books department. Guess it's up to us to make our glorious impact on history as we go along.

Good catch, I forgot about Brush Wars.

Yep, after this game launches, new books shall be made about our glorious Republic!

That'd be great! In fact, given that National Novel Writing Month is going to happen 4 months into the game, I'm looking forward to a great deal of fan-written material. Mercenary units might craft their own collective narrative, and the Great Houses could produce "propaganda" literature for their respective forces. I might even join in myself. I suppose it depends on whether I have something to write about.

Battletechnology Field Reporters will of course cover any important events in the Free Rasalhague Republic. Our main office is on Satalice, but we are planning on opening offices on Radstadt and Rasalhague within the next year. Free Lance agents are always appreciated and properly rewarded for news leads published in the Quarterly Battletechnology magazine. Interested Free Lance writers please contact our Human Resources Department in our Headquarters on Outreach.

Now I'm wondering if we're gonna start getting warrior poets popping out of our ranks. Have some dude composing prose on the color of the blood on his Atlas' feet.

Oh my Atlas,
How thine mighty barrels layeth waste,
And thy mask doth strike terror into mortal hearts...

INDEED! Our poetry shall be the most DELICIOUS of the poetry! Our songs of glory and valor shall RING OUT unto the stars and echo into eternity so long as mankind draws breath.

Sound of the FRR guns:
Boom, boom, boom
Boom, boom, boom
Boom, boom, boom, boom
Boom, boom, boom.
