Funny you should say that. I just watch Die Hard last night and am playing Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza today. I decided I wanted to see what the dev's premier game was like and see what they wanted to release to the world to represent themselves.

I look forward to this myself! I officially watch Die Hard every December holiday season as the number 1 Christmas movie of the household. The Nostalgia Critic helped me justify that decision!

His son? really? I thought the buzz that Justin Long's character from the last movie (the hacker nerd) would be Bruce's traveling buddy

Absolutely. The first one.
Second had a stupid plot, because planes don't just fly around when they're low on fuel. If it takes too long, they're diverted to another airport.
Third was stupid because the baddie kept playing games with McClane. NOBODY plays games with McClane. ESPECIALLY if there's Samuel L. Jackson involved.
Fourth, eh, I passed that one.
Anybody know if the fifth is going to be clever?

Watch it as a rental, I thought it was going to be watered down as well, but honestly it was a lot of fun as McClane seems like he's finally accepted that this **** happens to him all the time and he's just the guy that has to deal with it.
